Job Description

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregiver Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at Sevita. As part of REM Community Services, a division of Sevita, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve assisting individuals with daily activities, fostering independence, and creating meaningful relationships that enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with various needs, including autism and related conditions.
• Support individuals in achieving their developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, and nutrition.
• Foster community integration and participation in activities that promote social engagement.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all participants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions.
• Patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility are essential qualities for this role.
