Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize products on shelves.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies with a focus on data security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
