Job Description
HealthSource of Ohio is seeking an Experienced Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our organization, the Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care and ensuring all individuals are treated with respect and equality.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
- Perform both administrative and patient care duties.
- Facilitate communication between patients and physicians.
- Room patients and gather visit information.
- Handle medication and pre-authorizations.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant.
