Job Description
La Quinta Portland is seeking a Maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a smooth running of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform a variety of tasks including changing light bulbs, vinyl repair, touch-up paint, and minor furniture repair.
- Conduct preventative maintenance for a range of equipment including ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC, and more.
- Perform plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and other services to ensure optimal functioning.
- Respond to alarms promptly and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete any other tasks as delegated by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state is a must.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) specific to the property.
