Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an Oncology Account Manager for the Lehigh Valley region. The Oncology Account Manager will be responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' oncology products, developing and managing business relationships with specialists, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers in the designated area.
- Educate physicians about the company's products and approved indications.
- Achieve sales targets and forecasts.
- Organize meetings, attend trade shows, and contribute to sales strategy.
- Establish strong relationships with key physicians and healthcare professionals in the territory.
- Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in Oncology sales preferred.
- Strong product and disease state knowledge.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Post-graduate business education is a plus.
- 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience or 3 years in Oncology sales.
- Experience in Hematology and/or Solid tumor sales.
- Knowledge of AML or Lung Cancer is highly desired.
Physical Demands
- Frequent travel between meeting sites.
- Operating office equipment and using a computer.
Work Environment
- Interacting with external contacts in an office environment.
- Possible flexible work hours to meet business demands.
