Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This remote position involves developing and managing relationships with assigned Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts. The role entails executing market access strategies, collaborating with internal teams, and leveraging relationships to ensure appropriate access for Jazz's product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies for Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in target payers.
• Coordinate Jazz activities and resources with target payers.
• Lead cross-organizational projects and teams.
• Negotiate rebate agreements and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Demonstrated success as an Account Manager in Medicaid.
• Strong understanding of healthcare, payers, and compliance laws.
• Proficiency in core competencies: Business Acumen, Communication Skills, Critical Thinking, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience with specialty products and rare disease drugs preferred.
• Clinical knowledge in Sleep/Neuroscience or Oncology areas desirable.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
