Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve working closely with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure proper product display
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues to the management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Capability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
