Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and support shoppers during their visit
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and ensure security
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold confidentiality and security
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently
- Capable of working independently and within a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
