Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. By collaborating with our team, you will contribute to creating a positive environment for both customers and colleagues.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure organized product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively
- Communicate well with team members and management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to company policies
- Follow cash handling procedures efficiently
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
