Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. This role offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $25.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, participating in inventory counts, and collaborating with peers and warehouse leadership. You will play a key role in achieving budgeted goals and improving warehouse processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement.
- Inspect and report product quality and safety concerns.
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and placing products up to 45 pounds.
- Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse.
- Operating in varying temperatures, including cold environments.
- Safely operating powered industrial equipment.
