Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology to join our dynamic team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will work closely with the US Executive Medical Director and other cross-functional partners to develop and maintain scientific and educational programs, provide medical insights, support market access activities, and ensure compliance with policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
  • Providing scientific support for cross-functional initiatives and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Developing and maintaining non-promotional, evidence-based scientific and educational programs.
  • Collaborating with commercial partners to support Market Access, Marketing activities, sales training, and sales leadership.
  • Monitoring medical insights to inform brand strategy and execute regional post-marketing studies.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare/academic industry experience.
  • Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
  • Experience in analyzing clinical-medical trial data and working with marketed products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and influence through virtual settings.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%.

Compensation

We offer a competitive total compensation package, including a base pay range of $164,000-$246,000, discretionary annual cash bonus, equity grants, and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement savings plan, and flexible paid vacation.
