1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the warehouse management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing warehouse personnel, and ensuring efficient and safe practices are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
• Coordinate job activities and tasks of direct reports to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee product receiving, selection, and shipping operations.
• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and manage operational improvements.
• Communicate job responsibilities, performance expectations, and company values to warehouse personnel.
• Collaborate with other operational areas and management to optimize warehouse performance.
• Lead, plan, and facilitate Warehouse Associate meetings.
• Train and develop direct reports, providing feedback and annual performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage controllable expenses and inventory to optimize warehouse operations.
• Maintain equipment, address hazards, and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a productive workforce.
