1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse environment offers both part-time opportunities, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, in ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Extensive training and safety programs ensure that our warehouse associates are equipped with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and facilitate communication with team members and management.
• Provide input for process improvement and budget achievement.
• Act independently within area of responsibility and adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, adapt positively to challenges, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical capability to lift and move products, operate industrial equipment, and work in variable temperatures.
