1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and in a timely manner.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with team members, suppliers, and management to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrated ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with a team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and organize tasks efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
