1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 - $24.50 per hour, depending on the shift. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, handling, and preparing merchandise for shipment while maintaining warehouse standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with warehouse team.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Drive for success and efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move product up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in various temperatures and environments.
