Job Description

Join ALDI as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler in our fast-paced warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training and a focus on safety to succeed in your role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and follow safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
