1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and efficient 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, sorting, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise according to guidelines.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Offer insights to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in varying temperatures and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
