1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership to ensure effective communication.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
