1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi, a leading retail company. In this full-time role with 30-35 hours per week, you will start the day at 7:00 AM, handling various schedules A1, A2, B, C, or D. Your responsibilities will include selecting and receiving stock, relocating merchandise, sorting and loading products, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating with peers and leadership to enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform within ALDI Acts competencies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
