1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The role involves a 7:00 AM start time and offers an average of 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour. We have openings for Schedule D and Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise, ensuring strategic preparation for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide input to improve processes.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
