1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise within the warehouse, preparing shipments, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and adhere to safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
