1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain communication with peers and leadership.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to improve processes and achieve goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
