Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, you will receive thorough training and participate in a comprehensive safety program to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in taking inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Independently make decisions to achieve operational goals.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, collaboration, and resilience.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in various physical activities throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
