1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. Our package handlers play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and product integrity.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Adaptable to pressure, setbacks, and challenges.
• Efficiently organizes work and executes tasks with compliance.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments.
