1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for various duties such as receiving and organizing incoming stock, loading merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and working collaboratively with the warehouse team. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious, cooperative, positive, driven, and efficient behaviors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise and prepare products for deliveries.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate industrial equipment.
