1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise in our warehouse. You will also be responsible for maintaining warehouse appearance standards, inventory counts, and collaborating effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, adapt positively, and drive for success.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
