1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to ensure customer satisfaction. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, starting at $23.75 per hour. You will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with the team to achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain communication with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Frequently move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
