1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is an opportunity to work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $19.50 - $23.50 per hour. We currently have openings for Schedule D and Schedule B. If you are detail-oriented, physically fit, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently according to company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Work in various temperatures, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
