1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at ALDI. This position offers competitive wages starting from $19.50 - $23.50 per hour based on the shift and schedule. The chosen candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing and loading merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication and exchange of information.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Independently make decisions within assigned responsibilities.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving set goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
