1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time position with 30-35 hours per week, you will play a key role in efficiently selecting, receiving, relocating, and organizing merchandise in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Conscientious and safety-conscious work ethic.

• Efficient organization and execution skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
