1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. The position involves various responsibilities, including receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and management for effective communication and process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrated conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and operating equipment.
• Working in varying temperatures and refrigerated environments.
