1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling of merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and supporting overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in general cleaning tasks to uphold warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Contribute to inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Take initiative to improve processes and meet budgeted goals.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for optimal warehouse performance.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks following company standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic ability and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and carry items throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
