1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the ALDI family. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring our stores are well-stocked and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality and safety, reporting issues to management.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work conscientiously, collaboratively, and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
