1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to ensure our customers receive the best service. Our warehouse employees work fewer than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, supported by a comprehensive training and safety program.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Assist management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered equipment.
