1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing and loading merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, and working collaboratively with warehouse leadership and peers. Your role will involve operating equipment, participating in inventory counts, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated concern for quality, safety, and product integrity.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organizational and execution skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Movement of merchandise and preparation for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
