1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage of up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, product integrity, and safety.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and resilience.
• Driven for success and efficiency in executing tasks.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and physical demands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
