1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, ultimately serving our growing customer base. As a part-time team member, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive a starting wage of $23.75 per hour and will undergo thorough training and safety programs to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect products and report quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerator/freezer environments.
