Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our valued customers. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any product quality or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
