1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. As a warehouse team member, you will be responsible for various duties such as stock selection, merchandise relocation, shipment preparation, warehouse cleaning, and inventory management. The role requires active participation in maintaining warehouse appearance standards, fostering effective communication with peers and leadership, and providing input for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and warehouse cleaning.
• Collaborate with team members and warehouse leadership for process enhancement.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
