Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. Your role will involve collaborating with peers, suppliers, and management to enhance processes and achieve warehouse goals.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and quality assurance.
- Independently make decisions within delegated responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals and following company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or within a team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, work in varying temperatures, and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
