We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee all hotel operations and ensure guest satisfaction. As an Assistant General Manager, you will lead a team, maintain high standards of service, and drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and staff management.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and standards.
  • Act as a public relations director, promoting the property.
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Conduct property inspections and maintain facilities to standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to staff.
  • Uphold grooming and service standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong management skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • Degree or diploma in hotel management or related field.
  • 5-10 years' experience in hospitality, including luxury and international exposure.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or Executive Assistant Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
