Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing daily store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial part in driving store performance, maintaining inventory, and fostering a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to drive operational improvement.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor market competition and propose strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Oversee daily store operations and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.
  • Supervise and support team members for optimal performance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management role.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
