Assistant Retail Management

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising team members, developing operational strategies, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $26.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with company strategy and values.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on products.
• Supervise store operations and address customer concerns.
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and product quality standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training for new employees.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
• Previous management experience is advantageous.
