Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. You will also identify training opportunities to support the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values.
  • Provide feedback on products and maintain inventory procedures.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.
