Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing store operations, managing schedules, developing action plans, and fostering a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify and provide training opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Ensure product quality, appropriate stocking levels, and optimal merchandising.
  • Supervise daily operations, address customer concerns, and maintain store cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and handle customer transactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
