Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing store operations, supervising team members, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Operate cash register and other store equipment accurately.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Prior management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
