Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, implementing action plans for improved performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify and provide training opportunities for staff development.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive position.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
  • Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks.
  • Operate cash registers and other store equipment efficiently.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prior retail experience of at least 3 years preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in interpreting and implementing company policies.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and expense management principles.
