Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, implementing action plans for improved performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify and provide training opportunities for staff development.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive position.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks.
- Operate cash registers and other store equipment efficiently.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prior retail experience of at least 3 years preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in interpreting and implementing company policies.
- Knowledge of budgeting and expense management principles.
