Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing daily activities, improving operational results, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing action plans, training and developing team members, and ensuring overall store performance.

Position Type:

Full-Time
Average Hours: 38 hours per week
Starting Wage: $24.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in the store's interviewing process.
• Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• High school diploma preferred, with retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
