Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a critical role in store management, overseeing daily activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
