Job Description

Join our team as an Assistant Retail Manager at Aldi, where you’ll be responsible for key store management tasks including supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. This role involves identifying training opportunities to promote team growth and efficiency.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans for enhanced operation results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Model company core values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Provide feedback on products and maintain store standards.
  • Supervise daily operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and customer service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
  • Assist in achieving store payroll and total loss budget goals.


  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience in retail management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Operational and budget management skills.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Management experience is a plus.
